Two-Tailed PCR

In 2017 TATAA Biocenter and the Institute of Biotechnology, BIOCEV, developed Two-tailed (2T) PCR for ultrasensitive analysis of microRNAs.

This highly specific, sensitive and cost-effective system is used to quantify miRNA expression based on RT-2T-qPCR, with SYBR-green or probe based detection. The technology also offers important specificity advantages for rare sequence detection using digital PCR.
